Cha Cha Cha Changes

The bike has gone through some changes.

Added some new things and got rid of other things

Bruiser Build complete

Here is my new bike. Yes it would seem as though this is just a big kid bmx bike and maybe it is, I don't really care, its a blast! For the most part there isn't anything different from any write-ups that you may have read about this frame. The handling is nimble, yet not twitchy as some other fixed gear frames can be. This is certainly not a track bike, but Im ok with that. The gussets make this BB cluster and HT cluster pretty stiff and rolling over dirt paths, grass, ruff pavement is very smooth. The frame doesn't feel shaky in anyway over uneven surfaces.

Here is the list of components currently on the bike:

Frame/fork: MKE Co. Bruiser

Bars: Woodman 1inch risers 31.8 clamp

stem: Thomson x2 70mm 10/-10 degree

Headset: Cheap-o Origin 8 (chris king wanna-be. Bet you thought it was a King. This is one of the things that I will definitely be upgrading, the steer tube and fork combo is so beefy that it actually flexes out the headset at times causing a little bit of play.)

Front Wheel: Mavic CPX22 laced to a Formula 32hole hub.

Rear Wheel: Aerospoke/ Soon to be Salsa Delgado Cross laced to a converted Shimano XT175 disc hub 36hole with bolt -on Velo Solo cog.

Bottom Bracket: Shimano sealed cartridge (nothing special)

Crankset: Sugino 75s 165 arm length 49t chainring.

Cog: Formula 1/8th inch 17t

Saddle/post: The one that came on my Bianchi, and the post that came on my Masi. soon to be a Selle Italia Turbo saddle. I found an original!...cheaper than the re-makes too :)

If you see me around you should ride this thing, its fun. Unless Im on my way somewhere, then I might be inclined to take a rain check.
